Meet Joanna - Your Wedding Celebrant
Choosing the right person to lead you through your ceremony is a very important part of your special day. Friendly and professional, I am highly experienced in a wide range of different ceremonies - welcoming all faiths, nationalities and love relationships to warmly host your event.
My Role as Your Celebrant
I have been conducting beautiful and bespoke weddings, wedding blessings and vow renewal ceremonies in India, Ibiza and the UK since 2009. Whilst such ceremonies may not be recognised as legally binding, many couples choose to complete the formalities at home - to make their preferred style of love ceremony the real celebration.
Approaching the design of your own ceremony can be daunting - and that's a key part of my role. I will help you create your own uniquely special ceremony and ensure that you feel relaxed and confident on the day. I am also happy to be part of your hosting team - to greet guests and to put them at ease, especially if they are unfamiliar with a celebrant-led event.
In addition to a background in event hosting, I bring over thirty years of experience as an actor and voice over artist to my role as celebrant. Originally from Cambridge, and based in both India and Europe, I have been delighted to officiate at countless styles of weddings ever since - from 'barefoot chic on the beach' to intimate elopement weddings to lavish occasions for hundreds of guests.

Together we will finalise your chosen words, vows and readings - and create the perfect ceremony you have always dreamt of.
I am always available should you wish to talk anything through prior to the Big Day and I will be right there with you when it counts.
